We have the first stop at Bran Castle wich is a historic and architectural monument, located in Rucar-Bran Pass. With its remarkable architecture, Bran Castle was built between 1377-1382 on a rock 60 m due to the privilege of November 19th 1377 the Hungarian king Louis I of Anjou.Bran Castle has been reinforced with vigilance and military functions on southeast Transylvania but also had trade and customs functions on trade route linking Transylvania and Wallachia by Rucar-Bran.
Although it suffered numerous changes being rebuilt several times (1377), Bran Castle keeps imposing Gothic elements of the original. Built originally as a fortress of trapezoidal shape, surrounded by a massive wall with shooting holes, Bran Castle proved to be a successful defence point because of his reputation as not having major problems during the more than 600 years of existence. In the inner courtyard of Bran Castle there is also a deep fountain 57 feet to provide water in case of siege.
Bran Castle is currently associated with Dracula vampire legend which gave a great fame, visited annually by thousands of tourists in the country but mostly from abroad who are attracted to this legend.

The park which surround Bran Castle hosts a small museum of traditional architecture . Otherwise all houses exhibited here are authentic, originating from this area. Village Museum of Bran is interesting by the fact that present, in addition to the mountains houses, a complete picture of the everyday life of the inhabitants.

Just few steps away of Bran Castle we discover the Queen’s Chapel. It was erected by Princess Ileana, the youngest daughter of Queen Mary, to shelter the vessel with the Queen's heart. “The heart of Queen Maria “ chapel from Bran is a copy of Stella Maris chapel in Balchik, Bulgaria.

Our trip continue by passing Gradistea Gorges to Moeciu Village, an authentic Romanian village, a place where you will be delighted by the mountains greatness and the beauty of nature.
After lunch, we hit the road to Rasnov Fortress - one of the best preserved peasant fortress of Transylvania. Rasnov Fortress was built by the people of Rasnov (apparently with the help of the Cristian and Vulcan) to defend against increasingly frequent attacks by hordes of Turks and Tartars of 13-14 centuries. Rasnov Fortress has an architectural style dedicated to the sole purpose of being difficult to conquer. Thus was built of stone and brick on a rocky hill near the city. The walls have an irregular route, have heights of up to 5 meters and 1.5 meters wide in places. Fortress towers and walls were covered with tiles to prevent any fires caused by the besiegers.

We take the road that links Rasnov town with the wonderful mountain resort, Poiana Brasov which is the most popular Romanian ski resort and an important tourist center preferred by many tourists not only from Romania but from all over Europe. Poiana Brasov is an old destination for skiers and climbers. The first documentary mention of the location dates back to 1427, in the context of the activities of the sheperds that occurred here. The skiers still have climbed Post?varu Peak from1895, and in 1906 in Poiana Brasov was held the first ski competition.
We return on the road with superb panorama of Brasov Old Town, hoping that you have spent an unforgettable day.
