The plans of Peles Castle were designed by Viennese architect Johann Wilhelm von Doderer and Schultz and subsequent supplements were made by the Czech architect Karel Liman.
Peles Castle is situated in a splendid park with terraces and has 160 rooms and halls and a central tower 66 meters high.

Today Peles Castle has been returned to King Michael I of Romania, but it will remain a museum and open for public visits; arranged as a museum Peles Castle is the cultural attractions in the Prahova Valley and is visited annually by thousands of tourists from Romania and abroad.
The heritage museum has many ornamental objects, ivory sculptures, tapestries, furniture, oriental rugs, collections of arms and paintings. We hit the road to Azuga town where we visit the Rhein Cellar, which is considered the oldest location from the country which produces sparkling wine using the traditional method of making champagne. Azuga Rhein Cellar is the official supplier for "Romanian Royal Court". The cellars were built in a surface with double walls with natural ventilation and here one can find more about the way of wine from the start to maturation and have a tasting session of sparkling wines. This was transmitted from generation to generation and it is very important that in the 21 th century there are maintained the same manufacturing techniques as there were used 100 years ago.
