Day 1: Bucharest – Peles Castle – Bran Castle - Brasov

Leave the bustle of Bucharest  behind and drive through the beautiful Prahova County landscapes to arrive at Sinaia Town, a famous holiday resort of Romania.Visit Peles Castle, a fantastic combination of neo-gothic and German Renaissance architecture.

Next on the list is the most  famous Castle of Romania, Bran Castle known as Dracula"€™s Castle where you"€™ll learn more about Vlad the Impaler and romanian history.

We head up to Brasov and enjoy a memorable evening tour in this exciting city. (optional). Overnight in Brasov.

Day 2: Brasov – Viscri – Sighisoara – Brasov

Today you"€™ll travel through the Padurea Bogatii Pass  on the road that was once followed by merchants and knights and arrive at Viscri village. We"€™ll visit the magnificent Viscri fortified church wich was built in the 12 th century. Next , discover Sighisoara Middle Age town, visit The Clock Tower, The Torture Room, Weapons Museum, see the house where the famous Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) was born. We visit the Church from the Hill but not before climbing the 175 covered steps wich was built in 1642 in order to make easier access for the schoolchildrens. From this highest point of the citadel you have the view of whole citadel , so don't forget your camera! Return to Brasov.

Day 3: Brasov – Sinca Veche – Ohaba – Lisa – Brancoveanu Monastery – Lippizan Horse Farm – Fagaras Fortress – Brasov

Today  we travel to Land of Fagaras, a land full of romanian history and tradition, which lies around Fagaras Town and Fagaras Mountains. We make the first stop at Sinca Veche, a compact Romanian village where we visit the rupestral monastery – a place rich in mystery and strange phenomenons. Next stop is in Ohaba village  at” Moara cu Noroc” guest house , a place detached from a fairy tales, where we visit a mill that uses the power of water, the only one that stayed in operation in those places where locals are still proccesing their grains by traditional method.

We continue our journey to  Lisa village where  we visit  Greavu Viorel family household, located in a beautiful mountain area, where we visit a facility that processes these thick wool fabric,using hydraulic power and wich is the family business for over 100 years, being transmitted from father to son and which reached its fifth generation. From here we travel to a special place for the people from Fagaras , a place full of history and spirituality.

Brancoveanu Monastery is located in Sambata de Sus Village , at the foot of Fagaras Mountains in a beautiful mountain scenery. Going down on Sambata Valley ,we arrive in Sambata de Jos, where we visit the famous Lipizzan horses farm, a place with vast pastures, fresh mountain air and clear spring water, which is the oldest and largest farm of its kind in Europe, hosting more than 350 horses. From here we travel to Fagaras Town where the main attraction can not be missed - Fagaras Fortress. Return to Brasov.

Day 4: Brasov "€“ Prejmer "€“ Harman "€“ Rasnov Fortress "€“ Bucharest

Depart Brasov this morning  to discover the most beautiful saxon heritages of Transylvania. We begin our journey with Prejmer Fortified Church wich is the largest Fortified church in Southeastern Europe and was built by the Teutonic Knights in the 13 th century. Next stop in our tour is Harman Fortified Church wich is located in the heart of Harman village. We hit the road to Rasnov Fortress - one of the best preserved peasant fortress of Transylvania. Return to Bucharest and drop-off at your locations or airport.
